Wicked Wanda's
“Wanda’s” is one of the best selling structures Bar Mill's has ever produced. Originally designed by Pete Willstein of New York this lanky structure has an attitude all of its’ own. Pete got the idea from a photo, where the original structure was some kind of a place to grab a bite to eat. The combination of clapboard & board & batten siding, along with the laser-cut “cedar shake” shingles and the complex looking stairway help to make this one stand out from the rest. A small “footprint” with a lot of vertical interest it can be squeezed into places other buildings dare not go !

#0964  RETAIL PRICE $99.95

Mooney's Plumbing
“Mooney’s Plumbing” was based on a Bob Hayden article many years ago... originally called the “8-Ball Locomotive Works”. There are two (2) versions of this structure, the “O” & “S” scale versions were modified a little because of size restraints. This is a small but HIGHLY detailed structure.. not for the novice !

 #0824 RETAIL PRICE 154.95

Baggage Carts
Every station seemed to have these, now you can have a few of these too! "O" scale versions are packaged individually.

#0784 RETAIL PRICE $8.95

Sidewalk Street Elevators
Go to about any city and you'll see these buried in the concrete sidewalks below your feet. These are based on a prototype, our are made of brass & require little effort to build.

#0499 RETAIL PRICE $11.95

Sidewalks In A Snap
If you've ever labored building realistic sidewalks this one is a "no-brainer", These look great, and require no modeling skills (also no real time or effort) to be assembled. Complete with a laser-etched curb & pre-distressed cracks.

#0684 RETAIL PRICE $11.95

Bud Smiley's
This one comes complete with an outside storage tank, plastic windows, metal details and colorful signs.  You can theme this one as either a “Texaco” or “Shell” station... graphics are included for both.  Call it “Bud’s”, or “Gomer’s”, or “Goober’s”, you get the idea.  This little gem will fit into any era layout and add some color & interest to it.  Vehicle not included (as usual)
#0104 RETAIL PRICE $89.95
Earl's Oil
“Earl’s” is typical of small fueling facilities located throughout the country.  This one is available in all scales, from “N” thru “O”.  Remember that the building is only a small part of the kit.  From the included tanks, fencing & billboard the scene can be “shaped” to fit anywhere on your layout.  This kit is especially good for filling in areas that are difficult to scenic... like the areas between and next to turnouts.  Vehicle (as usual) not included.

#0804 RETAIL PRICE $79.95
Saulena's Tavern
One of the most popular kit we’ve ever done, “Saulena’s Tavern” is named after the late modeling great Paul Saulenas. Paul is perhaps best known for his many fine structures, many of which reside on the “Franklin & South Manchester”.

#0934 RETAIL PRICE 124.95
Shack Pack
What makes us tout the kit is the fact that each of the three structures included in it take a different building approach. One shack is “tar-paper”, another clapboard, another scribed siding.  For the money spent you’d be hard pressed to find a better deal (or more useful structures !).  So for all of you, beginners (and not-so-beginners) we can only suggest to you that this kit will fit anywhere, serve most any purpose, and give you some practice with different techniques & ideas.  As simple as it is, it continues to be one of our favorites !

#0994 RETAIL PRICE $69.95
Swanson's Lunch Stand
This little kit is typical of not only lunch stands but of any small vending operation, anything from watermelons to flowers and fresh produce are displayed along roadsides all over the U.S. in this typical setting.

#0954 RETAIL PRICE $39.95

Sweaty Betty's
As a more "modest" kit than some of the high-end things Bar Mills has done as of late this one will also have a modest price. The kit has some unusual features.  Aside from a great roof sign(even an air conditioner) it features "screen" doors as well as some colorful artwork to help make this building an eye-catcher.  On a side note this kit got it's name from a place that actually existed right here in Maine.  Trust us when we say it was the "locals" that re-named the place and not Betty !

 #0302 RETAIL PRICE $119.95

Witzinger's Washboards
If you're building a model layout (and not just a diorama) you may find this kit attractive in more than one way. This is the second in a line of "false-front" buildings... all the detail, character & charm of a "regular" building, but in half the space.

This kit is really a 2-3 night project, the wood is laser-cut, the windows are plastic, and the detailing is minimal.  Bar Mills  has introduced its new "slate shingles" with this kit.

#0174 RETAIL PRICE $74.95

Buster's Barber Shop
"Busters" actually exists here in Maine, & if you don't need a haircut you can always turn it into a pool hall or a local cafe ! Complete with newspaper stand that can be built individually. This is one of the few kits Bar Mills has manufactured just for the O-scalers.  It's small footprint and vertical nature takes up little room, a plus for those of you who are strapped for "real estate" !

#0164 RETAIL PRICE $89.95

Fensters Farm Fresh
There's more to this "simple" little building than you might think ! From the store window to the brick loading dock supports a "lighter" approach has been taken with this kit. It contains almost 30 white metal castings & measures almost 16" in length in O scale.

#0144 RETAIL PRICE $129.95

 Jebediah's Carriage Repair
This structure can have any one of a number of uses. Line-side or street-side this one goes either way.Bar Mills placed both lighting and a full interior in their own version of the model, if you build the kit with the front door open the interior detailing can tell a story all by itself... definitely a foreground model !  Windows are positionable, extra details are included in the kit that are not shown in the photo.

#0114 RETAIL PRICE $79.95

Majestic Hardware
Majestic” is one of the oldest structures in the line, & it’ll be around for a long time to come !  It’s traditional architecture lends itself to a series of geographical areas, when built without  the elevator extension the structure becomes more generic and can be used for anything from a trackside warehousing facility to a waterfront-type storage & transfer barn.  This one comes with a lot of metal castings, roof stencils, and the usual amount of Bar Mills “good stuff”.  As is always the case metal castings will vary along with the scale of the kits.

 #0944 RETAIL PRICE $169.95

Oakleaf Industries
This three building complex is complete with a loading dock. Bar Mills has modeled it as a land-based business but a simple extension of the supporting floor columns would yield a great looking waterfront industry as well !

#0184 RETAIL PRICE $129.95

Old Man Harts
This special issue of the smaller decrepit structure that originally was part of the "Hart's Transfer" limited-edition kit is now available on its own !This kit uses three types of roof covering, throw in some cool laser-cut windows & freight doors, add a few castings and some craftsman skills and you can have something that probably looks like noting else on your layout !  This is a kit for the creative person... the older & uglier it looks the better we like it !  This little diorama measures 7.5" x 8.5"... come to think of it this would make a great office/shed for a junkyard !

#0844 RETAIL PRICE $89.95

Shipyard Brewing
This “false-front” background building, offers a wealth of detail . From it’s laser-cut roof-mounted billboard & cupola to it’s large industrial type windows. ts half-thickness will take up less of your modeling space than you might think. A lot of though went into this one, from the diamond shingles, to the see through cupola and upper window shylights.  The idea was to make it NOT look like a "box".

#0854 RETAIL PRICE $149.95

The Gravely Buliding
Don't ask how Bar Mills came up with the name "The Gravely Building", they honestly don't know.  They just figured with apartments & an office on the upper floors and retailers on ground level it would make sense.  The pre-printed windows, colorful awnings, and unusual 2nd floor porch help to define this structure.  Equally at home in the Northeast or someplace on the west coast it can be used on just about layout.

#0884 RETAIL PRICE $169.95

The Idaho Hotel
Available in HO/S/O scales this versatile structure is based on a prototype hotel, but can be converted and used as a combination convenience store/ filling station/ hotel, as well as several other themed concepts. At home as much here in Maine as in W. Virginia or Colorado this building can really be used on just about any scene.  The HO & N scale versions feature plastic windows & doors. The larger "O" & "S" scale kits feature laser-cut versions of the same details. This is the first structure ever produced by Bar Mills and is still a favorite !
#0154 RETAIL PRICE $149.00

Insta Fence
This fencing is laser-cut for very quick assembly, and features a board thickness as thin as 1/64th " thick ! Never has a finer scale, more realistic fence been available. They've even included a small assortment of signs with each kit for added realism
#0044 RETAIL PRICE $12.95

Weathering Powder Kits
These four basic weathering colors" (light rust, dirty rust, dark rust, & grimy black can be mixed together to form any assortment of colors in-between ! these STAY PUT ! No need to add additional fixative to them ! A little goes a long way !
#0000 RETAIL PRICE $9.95

Weathered Gray Shingles
Paper-based models have been popular in Europe "forever". While the regular line of Bar Mills structures always include some form of laser-cut roofing, this version of the "shingle" is "printed", and then "laser-cut"... The results are consistent, and with a little extra "dry-brushing" and detailing, the shingles can be given even more of a craftsman-type look !

#0000 RETAIL PRICE $10.95

Lobster Traps
These brass lobster traps couldn't be easier to assemble. Multiple units come in a kit, & there is no gluing needed. Just bend into shape, mist them with a color, & age them with some alcohol/India ink & they're ready to go

#0084 RETAIL PRICE $14.95
Lowboy Trestle
Typically this trestle is only available  in N-HOn3 and HO-On30 but Bar Mills made some for us in "O" Scale ... so when they're gone they're gone!!

There are plenty of trestles available to modelers that are spanning the "Grand Canyon"... but what if your layout just has to traverse wetland, or mild geographical depressions? That's what the "LowBoy" is all about. You can link several kits together.
